CHAKRA BALANCING YOGA FLOW – Bookings Open!

Where we practice

We have a spacious, clean and homely place with wall mirrors at Hillside Road, Oldfield Park. There is limited free parking on the premises and also on the roadside.

Course programme

Our next 7-week Chakra Balancing Yoga course will begin on 10 October and end on 21 November. Classes are 1-hour long and can be booked individually. You can make a booking here.

Below is a rough guide to the programme in case it helps you decide which class(es) to attend if you’re not booked on the 7-week course. Learn more about the chakra system here. We also practice asanas (postures) that help with the opening of chakras.

Programme for new course starting 10 October

10 October – 1st chakra – root

17 October – 2nd chakra – sacral

24 October – 3rd chakra – solar plexus

31 October – 4th chakra – heart

7 November – 5th chakra – throat

14 November – 6th chakra – brow (third eye)

21 November – 7th chakra – crown

What to expect from the course

Chakras are energy centres in the human body. We work with these centres to ensure vital life force energy (prana) flows freely releasing any emotional blockages that could lead to ill health. Learn more about chakras here. We also practice yoga asanas (postures) to further open and activate the chakras.

Vinyasa flow is a style of yoga that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. Our focus is on breath, fluidity, agility, strength and balance. As well as sun and moon salutations, we practice some of the most popular asanas (postures) like warrior and balance poses.

The classes are therefore great for your mind, body and soul wellbeing!

Remember, group classes are great ways to meet likeminded people in your city. If the group is up for it, we could have socials after class. Of course, this is totally optional. You are also welcome to join our Facebook group, Yoga & Meditation in Bath, as it’s sometimes quicker to communicate online – if you are already on Facebook.

I will email you a health screening form to complete and return to me in advance of your first class.

Equipment

Yoga mats, blocks, blankets and straps are provided for all those who have booked in advance. However, you are welcome to bring your own equipment if you wish. Please wear stretchy clothes and bring a bottle of water with you.

Meet your instructor

My name is Sossi. I live in Bath. I have experience of teaching yoga and meditation to groups and individuals in three countries since 2017. I also have experience of creating and facilitating yoga courses. I received great reviews from a number of customers who attended my classes over the years. I am a Yoga Alliance certified teacher of vinyasa flow, yin yoga and pranayama (yogic breathing) and have a prenatal and postnatal yoga instructor qualification from World Yoga Alliance.

The small print

These new uniquely themed courses are offered to you at a highly competitive rate. If you require a refund, please make a request at least 48 hours before the course starts (if you booked on the course) or the class starts (if you are on a class-pass or pay-as-you-go). When you sign up for the 7-week course, you receive 7 credits to book on the 7 classes. Similarly you can book any 5 classes with a 5 class-pass, or any 3 classes with a 3 class-pass. These credits are only valid for that particular course, which means they are non-transferrable.
