Yoga Day Update – Weather Forecast for Saturday 13 June
In case you missed my last blog about International Day of Yoga, we are joining thousands of yogis around the world to celebrate all things yoga in the month of June. Officially, Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st of June, but as I’m not available then, we’ll do it on 13th here in Bath, UK.
Here is my last blog, for any interest.
Currently, the weather forecast is around 19 to 20 degrees with a gentle breeze, which sounds great. If this doesn’t change significantly by Saturday 13th, we’ll definitely go ahead with the yoga in Sydney Gardens. If you are booked in, I will email you if there are any changes. Otherwise, just turn up with your yoga mat and bottle of water! Also consider bringing a jumper or blanket for your savasana (final relaxation) just in case you feel cold.
Here is where you can book with promo code YOGADAY (all in upper case).

Bookings have been coming through, which is great to see! Remember it’s free to join, and you are welcome to invite your friends and family. All welcome! You will find more details, such as exact location, on the dedicated website, link below.

Since my last communication with you, the UN has issued a new theme for this year’s Yoga Day. 2026 is the 12th International Day of Yoga and the theme is “Yoga for Healthy Ageing” as yoga helps people stay active, independent and engaged as they grow older.
Finally, yogis who attend my classes regularly, as I’m not around next week, may I recommend you continue with your yoga practice, either at home or the sports centre / Team Bath? It may also be a good opportunity to do some online learning about the standards and values of yoga (the Eight Limbs) in the comfort of your home.
This is my first online course, and because of that, and because I am committed to spreading the wonderful message of yoga, I am offering it at a very low price. And if you are a regular to my classes, you get 50% off with a promo code. I welcome your constructive feedback and reviews after you’ve completed the course so I can improve on future online courses.

Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday! Feel free to forward this blog to friends and family.
