Who should attend
These Sunrise Yin Yoga classes are suitable for all levels including complete beginners.
Yin is a slower-paced, more meditative version of the popular physical discipline of yoga. Poses are held for two to five minutes to target the joints and connective tissues (ligaments and fascia). As a result, the poses are more passive holds, with little muscular engagement.
Hence, yin is suitable for anyone at any level of yoga practice. Options are given for different levels, whenever it is possible, so you can choose your own level of challenge, should you wish to do so! Yin is not only great for flexibility but also offers considerable mental and emotional relief through its meditative long holds, clearly making it one of the best ways to start your day!

We have a spacious, clean and homely place with wall mirrors at Hillside Road, Oldfield Park. There is limited free parking on the premises and also on the roadside.

What to expect from Sunrise Yin Yoga classes
At these Wednesday morning yin classes, expect to start with a gentle warm up including mindfulness and yogic breathing. We will then hold yin poses anytime from 2-5 minutes each choosing our own levels of challenge, and end the class with a super relaxing Savasana (relaxing on our backs).
Yoga mats, blocks, straps and blankets are provided as standard but you’re welcome to bring your own. Classes will start on Wednesday 7 May 2025. They are 1-hour long and can be booked as a bundle (3, 5 or 7 class passes) or individually.
You can make a booking here. Note that you can also use these credits for Chakra Balancing Yoga Flow classes on Thursdays, depending on space availability.
Remember, group classes are great ways to meet likeminded people in your city. If the group is up for it, we could have socials after class. Of course, this is totally optional. You are also welcome to join our Facebook group, Yoga & Meditation in Bath, as it’s sometimes quicker to communicate online – if you are already on Facebook.

Equipment
Yoga mats, blocks, blankets and straps are provided for all those who have booked in advance. However, you are welcome to bring your own equipment if you wish. Please wear stretchy clothes and bring a bottle of water with you.

My name is Sossi and I live in Bath. I have experience of teaching yoga and meditation to groups and individuals in three countries since 2017. I also have experience of creating and facilitating yoga courses. I received great reviews from a number of customers who attended my classes over the years. The small print
These new classes are offered to you at a highly competitive rate. If you require a refund, please make a request at least 48 hours before the class starts (whether you are on a class-pass or pay-as-you-go). When you purchase a class-pass, you receive credits to book on either Sunrise Yin or on Chakra Balancing Yoga classes. Please note that credits have expiry dates.
