Immersion Yoga Course – what’s next?

I hope you are enjoying the awesome British summer we are having! Just a little tongue-in-cheek humour, of course, as I am very much eagerly waiting for hot and sunny days, so I can ride my bike around town and go for walks in nature. Hopefully soon!

Still, I have a certain accomplishment to celebrate. This past Tuesday, I completed facilitating a new 6-week Immersion theory and practice yoga course in Bath. Truth be told, yes, it kept me on my toes as the weeks rolled on along with the chakra-themed postures, workbooks on the eight limbs of yoga, as well as other aspects of yoga that I believe are helpful to have in our regular yoga practice. Such a foundation course would not be complete without mudras, bandhas and mantras! But of course, I can never take all the credit! It was fantastic to have an amazing group with beautiful energy and tons of enthusiasm! My sincere thanks to all who came to classes, and thanks also for your feedback and reviews. I truly enjoyed practicing with you.

Below are a couple of reviews I received.

“Sossi is very authentic and knowledgeable about yoga teaching. I particularly enjoy her powerful flows and of course the guided relaxation at the end. She has a warm and lovely personality and I always gain loads of energy for the week after her class. Highly recommend her introduction to yoga course I attended.” Zee (Bath, 2024)

“Doing this course with you has enhanced the way I’m practicing … focusing more on other limbs of yoga as well as asana. With so much to input over 6 weeks, the level of input with each aspect, kept it flowing. I think you balanced it marvellously having a workbook of the next session to study, and know what was coming helped immensely.” Andy (Bath, 2024)

And here we are on the last day of the course, Tuesday 11th June.

My next course starting 27 June (Thursdays at 6pm in Oldfield Park, Bath) will have the same ‘tried and tested’ content. I would like to add, however, if you are planning to attend the next course, please know that asana (postures) practice is 50% and theory, chakra activation, yogic breathing take the other 50% of the time. Personally, I think 50-50 is a fair split! Wouldn’t you agree?

Speaking of 50, I am offering a free first class when you book on the next course, bringing the price down to £50 with promo code 10off1course. This is because I really want people interested in yoga to study the philosophy side because what we practice in gym studios is only a snippet of what yoga stands for. The early bird offer ends on Friday 21st June. If you can’t decide by 21st, don’t worry as you can still grab half price for your first class with promo code 5off1class.

The main booking page has been updated with this information, and more. Please have a browse and let me know if you have any questions whatsoever. You can comment below or message me from my website.

Here is the booking page.

I am looking forward to welcoming you to Hillside Hall for our new Immersion yoga course on Thursday 27th June at 6pm.

Namaste,

Sossi
