Why now?

Lately, we’ve witnessed the unfortunate erosion of human empathy and peace from our world. There’s been an increase in fear and fearmongering, anxiety, sickness, crime, excess death, hopelessness, confusion and poverty – too much for some of us to handle. I am not being pessimistic – I think most of us have experienced one or more of these first hand or know someone who has.

What happens on the world stage affects us at individual level too, which is why we also need healing. The good news is that we have the innate ability and power to heal ourselves, through meditation and positive-thinking. Absolutely.

The benefits of meditation

The benefits of mindfulness meditation have been scientifically documented, and include stress and anxiety relief, improving heart conditions, lowering blood pressure and improving sleep. Meditation can also help create greater self-awareness, improve openness to forgive and change and thereby improve relationships. Some of the additional benefits include encouraging creativity, helping you to slow down to appreciate life and providing you with a sense of joy and fulfilment.

The benefits of group meditation

Meditation is highly effective when done in a group setting – there is a certain buzz to it! Imagine how much positive energy just one person can generate, and multiply that by 10, 20 or more. Together, we are highly impactful and transformative. So we will come together from all corners of the world to bring forth much needed peace, love, kindness and forgiveness to our world. We will practice the well-known Buddhist Loving Kindness Meditation amongst other types of techniques that help deepen our meditations. Note that the techniques we will be using are not religion-based and therefore suitable for people of all faiths.

If you want to be part of our world healing meditation circle, join me and others on at 7pm (GMT) for 45 minutes every first Tuesday of the month!

You are welcome to pay as you go (£5) or you can get a 4-month membership at just £3 per session.
