Happy Friday Wellness Practitioners, Yogis and Meditators!
Drumroll!
I have great news to share with you today. I am now fully qualified in pre-and-postnatal yoga and so excited to share the gift of yoga with beautiful women bringing the next generation into our world! I am so honoured to be able to assist with their journey. And this is a brand new chapter in my yoga journey.
As you may well know, yoga can help with labour by opening the hips and increasing overall flexibility. It also provides techniques to relieve stress and pain through mindfulness and yogic breathing. What’s more, yoga can count towards a woman’s overall efforts to stay fit and healthy during her pregnancy as it improves muscle strength and agility.
For a woman who recently had a new baby, yoga can help her regain her strength, body shape and muscle tone. It is also known to ease symptoms of postnatal depression as it relaxes the body and helps clear the mind. If you are interested in understanding all the benefits of yoga, you can read my blog here.
I would like to reach out to women who are expecting babies or those who recently had one, at any level of yoga ability – including complete beginners and anywhere in the world as I am able to teach remotely via a video link. If you are reading this and you know someone who may benefit from prenatal or postnatal yoga, kindly share this post or direct them to my website: www.practicewellness.co.uk/classes Thank you so much!
Once they land on my site, they can book free telephone or online consultation which will help us both to get to know each other. They can also book in a 30-minute online trial class for only £20. In any case, I would need assurance that they have been given an ‘all-clear’ from their medical professionals that they can safely practice yoga, so I will get in touch with them to discuss.
Last but not least, I would like thank and recommend my trainer, Sue at Yoga2Hear, who is an amazing teacher of yoga teachers with some of the most attractive personal traits I have ever seen in anyone – encouraging, patient, respectful, supportive and always available to answer my questions wherever in the world she may be, and for however long I needed her help. She is a true yogi, and definitely my role model. Thank you Sue, from the bottom of my heart!
Thanks to you too for reading my blog. Here’s to … modified poses and sun salutations lovingly crafted for new mums, mum and baby bonding poses, mindful breathing techniques, total mind-body connection and the ultimate relaxation. Here’s to yoga … for everyone!
As ever, feel free to comment below or contact me via my website.
Have a great weekend.
