I hope you are enjoying the lovely warm and sunny weather as much as I am. I just love the summer! If you remember, in my last blog, Yin & Yang in the summer, I said I’ll be teaching a free class in the park when the sun comes out. Well, here we are!
You are warmly invited to a vinyasa flow class on Saturday 14 June in the beautiful grounds of Sydney Gardens (opposite Holburne Museum) from 5-6pm. There is a slightly secluded area opposite the public toilets, there is also free 4-hour street parking on Sydney Road. Click here for a map.
***Venue changed from Botanical Garden due to a musical event happening in the area.***
The class will be suitable for beginners and will go ahead as long as the sun is shining! If it rains that day, it will be moved to a different day and I will update you on the new date. For this reason, I would recommend that you book your place (as I can contact you directly), but you are also welcome to keep an eye on my website and turn up on the day. Note that bookings also help me assess how many people to expect.
This class is intended to be free of charge, but I realise some people actually prefer to pay (from past experience). So please do whatever you feel like. I have no expectations – except for having a wonderful time practicing yoga with a lovely group in a beautiful environment! With promo code freeparkyoga, you can book for free and let me know you are coming.
Bring your own yoga mat, and if you have a block, bring it along as well. Wear stretchy clothing and I’d say it’s always a good thing to have a bottle of water with you too.
*** N.B. You are responsible for your health and wellbeing during your yoga practice. ***
*** N.B. 21st of June is International Yoga Day and we will dedicate this class to the celebrations taking place all over the world. Read more in my older blog. ***

Further class updates
Weekly yin yoga classes will now start in September (moved from early May). Yin is a slow-paced yoga that works primarily on your joints and connective tissues; and is also great for your mental health. Why not join us on your Wednesday mornings in the autumn? Click here to learn more.
Weekly chakra balancing yoga flow classes are still happening on Thursday evenings in Oldfield Park. Thank you so much to all of you who have come in the past and are still coming to these classes. I totally enjoy practicing with you. To express my gratitude to those of you who have been attending the last 3 or more courses, I want to offer you a gift of £10 promo code for your next course (7-week course commencing 3rd July). I will email your code soon – keep an eye out in your inbox! Click here to learn more about our chakra yoga.
That’s all for today. Have a fantastic sunny weekend and week ahead. You can comment below or email me any questions through my contact page.
Don’t forget to book your free summer yoga in the park! I am very much looking forward to practicing with you on 14th of June.
With best wishes

What a wonderful initiative! Yoga in the park sounds like the perfect way to enjoy the sunny weather. Looking forward to joining on June 14th—thanks for spreading the love for wellness!
Hi Sossi. Brilliant idea! Unlikely I’ll be able to join you as I’m singing in a concert in the Abbey on Saturday, but if timing works out I’ll come along. Do hope it goes well ☀️ Judy
That sounds amazing Judy! Enjoy the concert 🙂
