I obtained my coaching diploma in 2007 from Noble Manhattan Coaching Ltd. I am passionate about coaching just as much as I am about yoga – I know the difference it can make in people’s lives.
For several years I worked in policy in government. This has helped me understand the physical, mental and emotional demands of office work and become a better career coach. Whilst travelling and living abroad, and constantly getting out of my comfort-zone, I also learned to be resilient and stay focussed on my goals.
Most recently, I worked as a full time Career Coach at the local council in Bath supporting residents to find work – having been clear on what they truly find fulfilling – and provided them with information on interview skills and available resources as relevant to their goals. I had a lot of success and received positive feedback. You will find some of them on the Reviews page.
As well as one-to-one career coaching, I run group workshops on various topics including coaching skills for new managers, goal-setting, overcoming barriers, self-confidence, assertiveness, listening skills, personal values, life purpose and interview skills. I worked with a college and a charity organisation to deliver these workshops to their customers. You can read more on the workshops page.
My diploma from Noble Manhattan Coaching Limited is accredited by ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management), IAPC&M (International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring) and ICF (International Coaching Federation). I uphold the main four principles of coaching, i.e. confidentiality, non-judgement, non-directive approach and an acknowledgement that the client is naturally creative and resourceful.
